Legal · Terms of Service

Plain terms for honest work together.

These terms explain how you can use this website and how Arise & Build Consulting works with ministries and nonprofits. These terms are written in plain words so you know what to expect before you book anything.

At a glance

Three things worth knowing before you read on.

Organizational consulting only

We help with identity, outreach and operations. We do not give pastoral care, counseling, legal, medical or financial advice.

The Scoping Call credit

The $150 Scoping Call is credited in full if an engagement starts within 14 days of the call.

No promised outcomes

Results depend on your people and your situation. We do not guarantee any result, growth or income.

01Who we are

Arise & Build Consulting is operated by Struggle Well Life LLC, a company registered in the United States. In these terms, “we”, “us” and “our” mean Struggle Well Life LLC trading as Arise & Build Consulting. “You” means the person using this website, or the ministry, church, nonprofit or business you represent when you book or buy from us.

We provide our services only in Florida and the Tampa Bay area.

02Agreeing to these terms

By using this website, applying for a Scoping Call or starting an engagement, you agree to these terms. If you book on behalf of an organization, you confirm you are allowed to agree for it.

When we start an engagement, we also sign a written agreement with you. If that agreement and these terms say different things, the written agreement wins for that engagement.

03The services

We provide organizational consulting to Christian ministries, nonprofits and faith-aligned organizations. The work helps you say who you are, reach your community and put recurring work on systems your people can keep. It is built on the Nehemiah pattern: one section of the wall at a time.

What we do not provide

Our work is organizational consulting only. We do not provide pastoral care, counseling, therapy, legal, medical, tax, accounting or financial advice. Nothing we say or write should be taken as that kind of advice. For those needs, please speak to a qualified professional. We may suggest you do so during our work together.

04The Scoping Call

Every engagement starts with a paid Scoping Call:

  • A 45-minute live conversation on video or by phone, to diagnose the one recurring problem your ministry faces.
  • A one-page written diagnosis, sent within 3 business days of the call.
  • The fee is $150, paid when you book.
  • The $150 is credited in full against your first engagement if that engagement starts within 14 days of the Scoping Call. After 14 days, the credit no longer applies.

Applying for a Scoping Call does not oblige either of us to work together. We may decline an application if we do not think we are the right fit for what you need.

05Engagements and payment

Our engagements are Identity (2 weeks), Amplify (6 weeks) and Optimize (90 days), with monthly Faithful Systems Partner support available after an engagement. What each one includes, how long it runs and what “done” means are described on our Offers page and confirmed in your written agreement.

Pricing for engagements is shared with you in writing on or after your Scoping Call. You pay the price in your written quote or agreement, and nothing else unless you agree to it in writing first. Founding rates are open to clients who start in Q4 2026, as set out in their written quote.

06Your part in the work

Good systems are built with the people closest to the work. For an engagement to do its job, you agree to:

  • Give us accurate and complete information about your organization.
  • Make the leader, and the team members who will own the work, available for agreed sessions.
  • Make decisions and give approvals in reasonable time.
  • Make sure anything you share with us is yours to share.

Timelines in your agreement assume this. If something on your side delays the work, the timeline may move.

07Results disclaimer

We work hard to help you reach the outcome your engagement is aimed at, but we cannot promise it. What happens in your ministry depends on your leadership, your team, your community, your resources and many things outside our control.

We do not guarantee any particular result, including growth in attendance, volunteers, donations, sign-ups, revenue or income. Any examples or descriptions of outcomes on this website or in our materials are not a promise that you will see the same. Results vary.

08Free tools

We offer free resources such as the Burden Page (a one-page worksheet) and the Two-Week Test (an online tool that maps where recurring work depends on you). They are for general, educational use. They are provided as they are, without any promise that they suit your situation, and they are not a substitute for consulting or professional advice.

09Intellectual property

This website, its words, design and graphics, and our methods, frameworks, worksheets, templates and training materials (including our Nehemiah-based method and the Five-Move Loop) belong to Struggle Well Life LLC. You may read and share links to our pages, and print or download our free tools for use inside your own organization. You may not copy, resell, republish or teach our materials as your own without our written permission.

Who owns the work made for you during an engagement, such as your identity statement or your written workflows, is set out in your written agreement.

Your organization’s own name, logo, content and information stay yours.

10Confidentiality

Ministry work is personal. We treat what you share with us about your organization, people and finances as confidential. We use it only to do the work, unless you agree otherwise or the law requires us to share it. Your written agreement may include further confidentiality terms. How we handle personal information is explained in our Privacy Policy.

11Using this website

Please use this website lawfully and respectfully. You agree not to try to break, overload or gain unauthorized access to it, not to copy its content in bulk, and not to use it to send spam or harmful material.

We aim to keep the website accurate and available, but we do not promise it will always be error-free or online. Information on the website is general and may change.

12Other services we use

Some steps, such as applying for a Scoping Call, booking, payment and email sign-ups, run on services provided by other companies. Their own terms and privacy policies also apply when you use them. We are not responsible for how those services work or for websites we do not control.

13Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows:

  • We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, or for lost revenue, donations, data or opportunity, arising from this website or our services.
  • Our total liability for any claim connected with a service is limited to the amount you paid us for that service.
  • Decisions you make for your organization, and how you act on our recommendations, remain your responsibility.

Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited by law.

14Indemnity

If you misuse this website, break these terms, or give us material you did not have the right to share, and that leads to a claim against us, you agree to cover the reasonable costs that result.

15Ending our work

Every engagement is designed to end with someone on your team running the work. Either of us may end an engagement early as set out in your written agreement. If we end it, you pay for work already done. Sections that by their nature should continue, such as intellectual property, confidentiality and limitation of liability, still apply after the work ends.

16Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The latest version is always the one on this page. Changes do not affect an engagement already under a signed written agreement unless we both agree.
