In short: we collect the information you choose to give us, plus basic data about how this website is used, so we can answer you, run Scoping Calls and engagements, and improve the site. We do not sell it, we only share it with the services that help us do that work, and you can ask us to see, correct or delete it at any time.

01Who we are

Arise & Build Consulting helps Christian ministries and nonprofits clarify their identity, reach their community and build systems that run without the leader. It serves clients only in Florida and the Tampa Bay area, and it is operated by Struggle Well Life LLC (“we”, “us”, “our”). This policy covers this website, our free tools (the Burden Page and the Two-Week Test), the Scoping Call application, and the information we receive while working with you.

We provide organizational consulting only. We are not a pastoral care, counseling, legal or financial service, so please do not send us medical, counseling or other sensitive personal details about yourself or the people your ministry serves.

02What we collect and why

Information you give us

  • Contact details such as your name, email address and, if you share it, your phone number, so we can reply to you.
  • Your ministry or organization: its name, your role, its size, and the recurring problem you describe in an application, intake form or call, so we can prepare and give you a useful diagnosis.
  • Free tool sign-ups: the email address you give for the Burden Page or the Two-Week Test, so we can send it to you and follow up.
  • Booking and payment details for a Scoping Call or engagement. Payments are handled by our payment provider; we receive confirmation of payment and billing details, not your full card number.
  • Engagement material: notes, documents and workflows we create or receive while working together, so we can deliver the work.
  • Messages you send us by email or through the site.

Information collected automatically

  • Usage data such as the pages you visit, the link that brought you here, your browser and device type, and an approximate location based on your IP address, so we can see what is useful and fix what is not.
  • Cookies and similar tools, described in section 05.

03How we use it

  • To answer your questions and review your Scoping Call application.
  • To schedule, run and follow up on calls and engagements, including your written diagnosis.
  • To send you the free tools you asked for and, where you agreed, occasional emails about our work.
  • To invoice, take payment and keep business and tax records.
  • To understand how the website is used and to improve it.
  • To measure and, where used, show our ads to people who may find them useful.
  • To protect the site, prevent misuse and meet our legal obligations.

04Who we share it with

We share personal information only with the kinds of people and services listed here, and only as much as each needs:

  • Service providers that host this website and its forms, send email, schedule calls, store documents, take notes, issue invoices and process payments, working on our behalf.
  • Advertising and analytics providers (Meta and Google), through the tools described in section 05.
  • People you ask us to include, such as your board or team members during an engagement.
  • Professional advisers and authorities where the law requires it, or to protect our rights, our clients or the public.
  • A new owner if the business is ever sold or reorganized, under this same policy.

We do not sell your personal information.

05Cookies and tracking

Cookies are small files a website stores in your browser. This site may use:

  • Essential cookies that make the site and its forms work.
  • The Google tag, which tells us how visitors use the site (for example Google Analytics) and can measure ads. Google explains how it uses this data in its own privacy policy, and you can install Google’s analytics opt-out browser add-on.
  • The Meta pixel, which tells Meta (Facebook and Instagram) when someone visits or takes a step on the site, so we can measure ads and show them to people who may be interested. You can change how Meta uses this in your Facebook or Instagram ad settings.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the site will still work, though some features may not. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as a request to opt out of the sharing described in section 10.

06Email and unsubscribing

We follow the CAN-SPAM Act. Our marketing emails say clearly who they are from, never use misleading subject lines, include our postal address, and carry an unsubscribe link. You can unsubscribe by clicking that link or by writing to arisebuildconsulting@gmail.com, and we will stop within 10 business days. We may still send you messages you need about a call, an engagement or an invoice.

07Keeping and protecting it

We keep personal information only as long as we need it for the reasons above, or as long as the law requires for business and tax records. We use reputable providers, limit who can see your information, and protect accounts with passwords and access controls. No system is perfectly secure, so if we learn of a breach that affects you, we will tell you as the law requires.

08Your choices

Wherever you live, you can ask us to show you the personal information we hold about you, correct it, or delete it, and you can stop marketing emails at any time. Write to arisebuildconsulting@gmail.com. We may need to confirm who you are before we act, and we may keep what the law requires us to keep.

09Children

This website and our services are for ministry and nonprofit leaders. They are not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them, in line with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). If you believe a child under 13 has given us information, write to us and we will delete it.

10California residents

If you live in California, the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CCPA/CPRA), gives you the rights below. We offer them to you whether or not the law requires it of a business our size.

What we collect, by category

  • Identifiers: name, email address, phone number, IP address.
  • Commercial information: calls and engagements booked, invoices and payments.
  • Internet activity: pages visited and how you use the site.
  • Professional information: your role and your ministry or organization.
  • Approximate location: based on your IP address.

We collect these from you, from your device, and from the services that help us run the site, for the purposes in section 03, and share them only as set out in section 04. We do not collect sensitive personal information for the purpose of inferring things about you.

Your rights

  • To know what personal information we have collected about you, where it came from, why, and who we share it with.
  • To delete personal information we hold about you.
  • To correct personal information that is wrong.
  • To opt out of sale or sharing. We do not sell personal information. Our use of the Meta pixel and the Google tag for advertising may count as “sharing” for cross-context behavioral advertising under California law; you can opt out by writing to us or by using a Global Privacy Control signal.
  • To limit the use of sensitive personal information, which we do not use beyond what the law allows.
  • To equal treatment: we will not treat you differently for using these rights.

To use any of these rights, write to arisebuildconsulting@gmail.com. You may also ask someone you authorize to do it for you. We will confirm your request within 10 business days and answer within 45 days.

11Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will post the new version here and update the effective date at the top. If a change is significant, we will tell you by email where we have your address.
